I created a conceptual brand identity for Modenhaus, an imagined UK vintage Bauhaus furniture shop, to explore Bauhaus principles through research and experimental design. I developed a full visual systemtypography, colour palette, structure, and key visuals—highlighting the movement’s clarity and function. The project also strengthened my AIGC workflow, where iterative prompting enabled me to generate Bauhaus-inspired hero scenes and furniture concepts that aligned with the brand’s envisioned atmosphere.

Bauhaus furniture design focuses on clean geometry, functional purpose, and modern industrial materials. Developed in the 1920s, it rejects ornament in favour of simplicity and efficient construction. Pieces often feature tubular steel, cantilever forms, and lacquered wood, highlighting lightness and structural clarity. Designers like Marcel Breuer and Mies van der Rohe created timeless icons that combine practicality, balance, and a distinctly modern aesthetic.

Bebas Neue

Typrography

Bebas Neue is a strong choice for Modenhaus because its clean, condensed sans-serif design reflects the clarity and functional simplicity of Bauhaus principles. Its geometric structure and uniform strokes give the brand a modern, architectural feel, while maintaining excellent readability across all applications. From logos to packaging and apparel, Bebas Neue delivers a bold, timeless look that communicates strength, precision, and modernist design.
